v stoked to listen tomorrow. last album was my favorite album of that year. high expectations for this

This is pretty phenomenal. The first couple singles were growers for me, but Prove It to You was an instant win. For the whole album, it's taking me some time to wrap my head around everything going on here, but I know it's got me hooked and wanting to continue coming back.

After listening to the new live album she released yesterday, this LP has shot up to my top 5 of 2024.

I'm catching up on a few things here since I was a bit surprised at the band reuniting. I guess they first reuinted at a live show benefit at the end of last year! Secondly, I forgot about her new hardcore band as well. I just found a few clips of that show and holy shit!

Listening to them now and I'm just so excited (but trying not to be too excited until I actually have tix because I fear this will be a bloodbath.)

 

Hope they play more songs off Sound & Color than Boys & Girls

 

Was anticipating this being an instant sell out but I guess not. What it WAS was a very pricy ticket lol but I can't miss it
