I just pressed play on this and i haven't listened to History Repeats in a while but honestly it goes OFF, I love this song, it's so funky

Fuck this is so good. In the middle of my first listen, wanted to wait for the vinyl. She's just on another level on this one.

 

If you guys like “13th Century Metal” then you need to listen to Damon Locks and the Black Monument Ensemble record from this year (one of the best albums of the year), Where Future Unfolds.

 

Just revisited that Damon Locks album for the first time in a while after reading this post and good call.

 

This album sounds and feels timeless. It’s seriously great.

I'm late to the party on this release, but it's a contender for my AOTY. He Loves Me is such a jam. Everyone I play this record for - young & old - seems to dig it too.
