What???! He died with the legacy he deserved Lou Pearlman, Disgraced Backstreet Boys Impresario, Dies at 62
Yeah I was on his page was thought "woah he's dead?" and carried on reading befor it struck me that the date was yesterday.
I was worried her vocals would be extra baby like in Private Show but they're not at all! The one two punch of Love Me Down and Hard to Forget Ya have me like
Change Your Mind has Spanish in it lemme get some cheetos and a frap from starbucks and walk barefoot in a gas station bathroom and then come home and light my vanilla scented candles for this moment!
My friend is spamming my phone with text as he listens to this. I can't wait to check it out later tonight.
I would go to hell if my reaction is "ding dong the witch is dead" right, like don't speak ill of the dead but he was a monster
Nothing wrong with that. In Backstreet Boy's doc when Nick can't even go into Lou's old abandoned house like omg. Anytime they talk about it it's so sad
After listening through a few times I would call it 2nd tier Brit. Not quite ITZ or Blackout level, but like Circus territory which I think is a great record but not like GOAT. I don't see it having the same iconic factor to me as those two, but it's a fun record. She seems like she's genuinely having fun and doing what she wants. It's actually kinda ridic she can go from the mess that is Britney Jean to this. BJ really is the one big stain on her otherwise pretty consistent catalog. Pitch should've been fixed on Private Show and I wish some bonus tracks were on the standard, like Liar This record plays up her biggest strength which is imo her ability to put that Britney twist on her songs. Her personality that she injects that makes a song distinctively Britney is in full force here. I think if I heard anyone else sing What You Need I'd be like wtf?? but it's SO her. Nobody else has that personality/charisma/fire they put into their songs like she does and it makes her truly special!
I thought this was going to stream exclusively on Apple Music for a bit for some reason. It's up on Spotify though so I'm starting it now.
The first time we've heard her sing since she sang happy bday to LA Reid it's a Britmas miracle!!! Except Toxic lol. She seemed weirded about by James a few times. She'd cave into herself and make weird faces, especially when asked how her boys feel seeing her perform. Also i always thought Oops was about like "leading a guy on" when she only wants something casual. Is that a confusing song or something
Honestly I think if his guest opened the car door and rolled out he wouldn't even notice cause he'd be too busy singing loudly to himself haha. I notice he interrupts and talks over a lot She was also super quiet tho lol
Just saw the Carpool Karaoke, don't know why I keep seeing coming saying she lip-synced. You could definitely hear her sing, yeah she might not be belting it like James is but she was def singing. It was cute tho and for a moment I kinda thought was gonna come out lol
Dafuq? I'm honestly not getting the love for Liar, it's not bad but idk how it's jumping out for a lot of people
The only thing worse than her squeaky vocals on private show is me trying to sing the song at the top of my lungs in my kitchen
