I can't tell if this is cultural appropriation which she's been pretty good at avoiding, personally hoping she covers Oops Oh My by Tweet
I always wanted Britney's smile. She has the best smile I've ever seen pre-whatever work she got done on her lips and I really hope she lets it settle to get her old smile back
They totally scrapped that album art together last minute since as @twentyone mentioned David LaChapelle shot the album art and then he withdrew involvement so they took a screen grab from the Make Me video and put questionable font over it. Everything seems sloppy. She needs to fire everyone but she never will!!!
She has the right idea. Vegas residency a few times a week where everyone has to come to her, and then usually spends the rest of the week in hawaii vacationing. The life.
Yeah wtf is up with the lip stuff? Woman is beautiful as it is... I came here to say that I gave Private Show a fair chance this weekend and I kind of love it now.
Apparently some song snippets are leaking and I'm at work. Someone do a public service and listen to them and report back
The leak of Clumsy is super low quality but it sounds just okay. Not a banger, just a run of the mill pop song...good promo I guess. The snippet of "Just Love Me" has a "Good For You" feel, hoping the chorus is huge. Sounds like it might be.
Also there was a tracklist leak from iTunes that shows a feature with Missy Elliot so I hope that's real.
Clumsy is available on streaming. So far all 3 songs sound so different. Glad she gets to experiment a bit
it's on Spotify now PS: 0/3 for me. this album is going to be pretty horrible if this is the overall feel of it. which i'm sure it is.
I like all 3 songs a lot. my expectations were so low after britney jean and i thought we'd get another one like that but this is already better. I think I'm gonna really enjoy this album and I love seeing her work with different sounds. Most importantly it's so her and she's having fun. I hate how a lot of big popstars rn sound so bored and vacant in their own songs. I hate it and it seems to be a trend rn and I want it to die. I love that she's so present and having fun and it's full of personality. It's the pop I need rn
You don't like "Make Me..."? I thought that was a real solid song, besides the feature. I'm flip flopping between how I think the album will pan out. It took a little bit for Private Show to grow on me, but I'm really enjoying it right now. It's funny because I thought Britney Jean was going to be awesome because I thought Work Bitch was an awesome lead single - and there was maybe only one other song I liked on that album. I think she is going in a few directions, I'm curious to see what the 'singles' on the album are going to sound like. I don't like Clumsy, I think the production on it is pretty terrible and I'm curious how it left the studio that way. It does worry me that so much of this album is rushed, but I wasn't in the studio so I have no idea.
If I was posting this on a pop forum I'd be afraid of getting dragged but, I think Clumsy is my favorite post-Blackout single. Not sure if it really counts since it seems to be a promo single but still. I'm 3 for 3 with new songs. Private Show definitely needed to grow on me but I can see myself liking this as much as Femme Fatale (probs my 3rd fave album from her) overall as long as the other tracks don't completely ruin things.
There is no denying she is queen of vma performances. I can't watch the video. Is she performing or receiving something? Every time she performs on TV I get so nervous for her!
