I... don't really know what to say?

I do have something in mind that bothers me: the way people were so proud of her in 2021 for coming out of her conservatorship, then turned on her the second they realized she wasn't going to go back to Britney Spears the popstar they grew up with... And now it feels like the world instead has gone back to treating her as a laughing stock in the same way as in the late 00s.

At this point, I don't know what I'm expected to feel when we're doing yet another round of "Britney does something weird or inappropriate". I'm aware she's not faultless, but I don't want to feed the very same system that trapped her back in the day either.

I've seen more and more of her reels pop up on meme/cringe compilations and I'm like... have we learned nothing

 

I can’t speak for others, but I genuinely feel for her. There needs to be a happy medium of getting the help she clearly needs without that horrible situation she was in. Spiraling in public for years is not something she deserves.
