When even a wealth management company doesn't wanna touch the conservatorship with a 10 ft pole...yikes. But this does give me hope that the paper trail the conservatorship has produced thus far will make litigation more difficult for Britney's conservators.
the Britney musical is about fairy tale creatures so I'm hoping she's saying she's condoning it and involved and on board because that would make me really happy since I'm so excited for that
Since she got rid of her scummy former lawyer, the way she's speaking her mind by calling out all the criticisms thrown at her is so inspiring. Things seem to be moving in the right direction.
That "to" in "to step down" is doing a loooot of heavy lifting. Jamie's latest court filing is basically legalese for "give my lawyers the money we asked for and i'll think about maybe stepping down...also fuck my ex wife." He remains in control of all Britney's medical, financial, and day-to-day decisions. Hopefully the judge will push him to resign on the next hearing date in September.
I feel like this documentary is going to help people better understand the logistics of how Britney was legally cornered and threatened into a probate conservatorship and then forced to work, but I won't be watching it. I don't think fans who are already familiar with the story should bother and Britney has indicated she feels the documentaries are exploitative. She has a court date the day after this comes out that will hopefully end with a plan for termination of her conservatorship and I hope that means we get her story in her own voice very soon.
