Yeah I'm guessing 3/12 stays open as a travel day. I don't see them adding a second Chicago show w/ the Aragon being one of the bigger venues on the tour (~5000 cap).
Just watched most of the show from Royal Albert Hall. Every BMTH fan needs to buy it. I had high expectations going in and was still blown away. It Never Ends w/ a full orchestra was unreal. Getting me real pumped for the tour in March!
In all honesty That's the Spirit is a solid album by these guys that was over-hated because of being so different. I didn't even like it much at first but in hindsight they did well with the sound they were going for, and it's worked out great for them. Lots of catchy moments and some interesting sonic choices.
I wanted a heavy album as much as anyone but I took to this album pretty quickly; doomed is one of their best songs ever. That said there's some pretty bad ones too, still don't care for happy song at all.
PollstarPro: Shining Light On Bring Me The Horizon Interesting tidbit at the end of this article: "Bring Me The Horizon is currently gearing up for tour dates in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. Oliver told Pollstar that the Australia shows will feature “the old design with Mi-Strip [LEDs], and the USA will be a reduced version of the UK tour.” This is FANTASTIC news! After seeing clips from some of the UK shows in December, I was really hoping their US tour would be similar, in terms of production value (obviously not on the same scale since they won't be playing arenas).
~5000. I'm betting it will sell out sometime in the next couple weeks. The Aragon is one of the bigger venues of this tour.
5000. I've been to sold out shows there and it gets hot as hell in there. I've seen rise against there twice and all time low there both times they had to pull people from the crowd because they were over heating
I'm not surprised the Montreal date hasn't sold out and it's a similar size. I have a feeling the whole tour will sell out closer to it starting.
Not that it wasn't expected but Oli confirmed on Twitter that this will be their last tour for a long time. I'm assuming they'll be working on the new album for a while.
That's good to know. I have definitely got my BMTH since I got into them after Sempiternal came out. I'm still bummed I got into them after they played Warped 2014.
I'm going to the first NY show, Underoath sold me on tickets even though I was interested in seeing BMTH already. I think There Is a Hell is by far their best album but I enjoy everything from Suicide Season on. That's the Spirit is a bit jolting and not everything hits but it has some really cool stuff on it like Doomed. Also quite a fan of What You Need and Blasphemy.
