You know me about as well as you know the genre. BMTH is metalcore fused with many iterations of genres. FFTL was mainly post-hardcore and emo. They didn’t have the production value, the genre bending, or the diversity of those BMTH songs. It’s just not even close.
Okay? I don't need genres and bands I've been listening to for two decades explained to me. This doesn't change the fact those songs remind me, and many of us or on other places as I'm not the only one making that comparison, of From First To Last. That's all my post said, everything else is you putting words into my mouth just to be oddly pedantic.
yeah I unblocked because I couldn't remember why I blocked and within first reply I was like "ah yes"
don’t even wanna know who it is lmao my block list has grown exponentially over the last few months but wouldn’t ya know it I don’t hate this website anymore
I've had the "bullet with my....................NAAAAAAAAAAAAME" scream Aaron does in bullet stuck in my head, it's so good
I think this album is amazing. It suffers from it sounding like a hodge podge of very separate and distinct songs (which is also a result of releasing 6 singles over 2 years), but I think it works well for whatever concept they are going for with this Japanese super internet thing. I think There is a Hell is their strongest release in that it is very cohesive and powerful, but this one is right up there for me in terms of quality. The hooks we have here are great. I really can’t wait to hear some of them in a live setting.
I swear I thought that was Spencer then Aaron comes in after. I was shocked. It's getting harder to tell them apart unless it's certain phrases.
I think my biggest gripe with the album might be that I don't care for the outros for most of the songs. They just feel like they tacked on audio for the sake of keeping with the album "concept" that doesn't need to be there and just pads out the song lengths. Like Top 10 Statues has an extra like, 20 seconds at the end where nothing of value happens.
Yea some of the outros are fine but there are at least a handful that I get to and I'm just like "Alright I get it, next song please" Could also be some lingering bitterness at Dig It's minute and a half of silence for absolutely nothing
Cool interview if not posted before “We kept getting bigger and we realised we had to take things seriously or throw it all away“: how Bring Me The Horizon changed the game and silenced the haters with There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It…
