Yeah it could've used some trimming, Post Human remains undefeated when it comes to their newer stuff
100% I am certain I've said this before maybe even in this thread, but there's an alternate timeline where That's The Spirit was as popular and commercially successful as Hybrid Theory. That's how solid I think that album is - yes, it's borderline "radio rock" but every song is an absolute juggernaut IMO.
hybrid theory is also an album very geared towards the radio tbf but it did so in a way that juxtaposed like four of the biggest influences the populace craved so its a different thing because thats the spirit is a mostly monochromatic album. thats the spirit woulda been as big as like three days grace or breaking benjamin or something which is still plenty big but it was also massive when it came out anyway, its a very influential album that every core band has tried to make their own version of since because of how easy it is to extract money from
Hybrid Theory mamaged to do for nu-metal what Nevermind did for grunge during a time when people still cared about buying music, and rock albums at that. That's The Spirit would never be able to reach those heights without massive changes to the timeline.
I still generally like TTS but boy that would have to be an alternate timeline where fucking NOTHING came out before to have TTS make that much of an impact lol
Yeah, this is sick. But are both Medusa and Off The Heezay slowed down a bit? It felt like it when Medusa started playing. Both songs were 5:38 on the original and both are 6:05 on Repented.
