Dead Swans? What a throwback. Having Sam feature on a song is like full circle considering Dead Swans and Architects did a split back in the day.
1x1.syncd might be my favorite track on their Lo-files album that dropped today. Like “Music to…”, this is a weird release, but I dig it. Wish there was a physical release.

Weird. I really hope the US gets a proper tour of some of these songs but I'd definitely be on the fence if it was just that same setlist.

Man, we are hosting a Howl’o’ween karaoke party tonight and my wife curates a playlist for in the house while people are in getting food or drinks (we sing in the garage, we are those people). “top 10 statues” was the first song on it and my kids (who have heard this song so many times and always rolled their eyes) absolutely lost their minds and bopped around to it when it was playing. Is it a meme now or something? Am I chopped or unc? Or are they finally realizing its a fucking banger?
Probably my favorite song off the album. Insane how well this album has held up. Definitely need to push it from my vinyl Wants list to my Needs list.
The album is too long by itself so I wish I could get a vinyl of my re-imagined tracklist since that’s been my primary method of listening lol
I’m curious about your reimagined track list. I always love those as a thought exercise but it’s really hard for me to do them on a record like this where so many tracks are explicitly blended into one another with fades, instrumental transitions or the 1-2-3-4 from n/A into LosT for example.
Sure - here you go! Obviously would need to rework the transitions but I made this a while back and is what I throw on whenever I’m in the mood for this record
