Any fans of Dutch music? Jordan Fish made an album with this artist that’s coming in March 2025.

  10. Wasn't expecting this many Funeral For A Friend namedrops but it makes perfect sense. I often forget BMTH are from the UK I guess.

Does he mention Lucas from Holding Absence being their tour vocalist? Curious if he had thoughts about him.

  12. Both Oli and Dan Lancaster mention the band a couple times when they get to the guitar stems, bringing up how they loved their metal-ish riffs and were going for that vibe there.

I totally get the Funeral references as they were kings of melodic metal riffs in the 00s.

It makes sense, they have been going strong for such a long time. Their last album was solid by all accounts from me. But, Oli seemed worn out in interviews.

I felt like this album had a lot more visibility and I saw it talked about a lot more than the previous few releases and they haven’t toured around here (are they not planning a US tour for this release?) so it didn’t feel like they’d been that busy but I guess in retrospect they have been productive

  18. It feels like they've been on tour non stop for at least 3 years straight, like as soon as they resumed touring post-Survival Horror until today, so it doesn't surprise me one bit

Wish we had gotten a proper US tour of this most recent release. Rest up, gang!

Even though I think the band said they didn't want to take this long for Nex Gen's follow-up, I did assume it'd be a 4-5 years timeframe for the next record, considering how much of a step-up in everything this album was to Survival Horror. I hope they recharge the batteries and come back with a curveball of a follow-up record.

Hope we get a couple Warped dates at least…having the US tour be that support spot for FOB really sucks, those crowds were dead for them at the two shows I saw.

    idk man

I think this is the year when I check out on being a massive BMTH fan. My music taste has shifted immensely and their recent output didn't do a whole lot for me. I'll still see them if I can (fully expecting something in the summer surrounding warped) but the excitement won't be there like it has in years past.

Wonder how different this year would've gone if they had been better to Jordan.
