The show in Los Angeles was incredibly disappointing from a crowd perspective for Thrice. Those on the floor didn't even more whatsoever, but they DID at least clap after the songs ... didn't boo or anything like that, but it was quite apparent they weren't particularly interested in what Thrice had to say.
Yep. I really could not care that he chucked a bottle of wee on someone a decade ago or whatever that I wouldn’t listen to them
*for not sleeping with him, then threw a bottle of alcohol into her face, and has been accused of abusing his partner. But yeah keep liking this garbage regardless.
I personally think it’s fair, warranted, and great to raise awareness for all of the shitty things that Oli, and other artists, have done so that people know about it. But I also think it’s fine for someone to still be able to enjoy the bands music, to be able to separate the music from the artist, and allow that person to be able to without making them feel like a bad person.
Hey Christian, just catching up on the replies in the forum. I agree with you to a certain degree, and I absolutely have no intention to make anyone feel bad about anything, particularly if they enjoy listening to them! However, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop calling this out, particularly as I think most fans are either unaware, or unwilling (see above) to hold this band accountable, for whatever reason. It's frustrating because I feel avoiding the topic is validating the artists' behaviour, particularly if they refuse to be accountable for themselves.
