I was reading YouTube comments (do not recommend) but people mentioned Nihilist Blues sounding like this song, and uhhh yeah the verses are pretty similar.
Have to say this has been on repeat solid since it came out last Friday. I love it personally and it’s the direction I thought they’d go in after TTS so I wasn’t surprised like some fans. Songs I’m jamming a lot to: In the dark Ouch into Medicine Why you gotta kick me I think this is an early favourite for me so far in 2019.
I don't really see how people could be surprised by this, or say this is a departure. Every album since CYB has added a little more and more mainstream appeal. They've always been a catchy band, it was just veiled in heaviness on the early albums.
im guessing the new issues album will be even poppier than this. they kicked the screamer dude out of the band last year
what was the band that had a full on saxophone solo in the first single to their next album? emarosa?
haha no, not Shrezzers, they've always been like this. Gotta love those dudes. It was actually Emarosa: 'We Had To Do It For Ourselves': Emarosa Embraces Pop With Infectious New Single 'Givin' Up'
If so - it came out MUCH better than TTS. Correct. The hate it gets is silly and this is coming from someone who thinks Disambiguation is their best record.
Amo has fully clicked with me and I now love it. Definitely going to grab a copy on vinyl sometime next month.
Still not really into the pure electronic tracks, but I think how everything blends on Medicine, Manta, Beautiful Life, Heavy Metal, In The Dark, SHI&T is really cool.
This is the same for me, which is why those listed are my Amo favourites. Since it's BMTH, I'm a little more open-minded about some of the electronic aspects, though.
