I’ve not been paying too much attention to the roll out of this so this may be common knowledge already. But Oli just said that Grimes and Rahzel are on the record too which both seem like cool collabs.

 

Them naming a song “heavy metal” is so funny given a lot of the opinions about them.

 

Hoooooooly shit those have got to be the worst lyrics they've ever done lmao, I wanna say they're purposefully that terrible but I dont't fully think they are???

Also I kind of get the feeling this is the type of song Oli won't be able to pull off live with that chorus lol

 

The Dani part and the chorus are nice but I don’t care for the verses at all

 

Its just a very kind of a track. It’s ok but nothing great.

 

I actually really like it and Dani’s vocals are utilized really well. It also fits well alongside Mantra.

 

both singles have been fine, but very underwhelming. chorus is fine, dani's part is cool, but oil's lyrics are actually getting worse, i really don't like this spoken word verse style, and there's just nothing particularly attractive about these songs to me.

 

I would like to hear the song with Grimes in it

Getting slight Rage Against The Machine/Limp Bizkit from the guitar riffs. Really pleased with this.

 

i think this literally might be a throw-away limp bizkit riff. i'm not kidding, if i heard correctly oli and jordan were supposed to produce/co-write a couple of songs for limp bizkit.

 

I'm sure the playback will take care of it.

He's an abusive piece of shit whose behaviour has been tolerated by his complicit bandmates instead of called out by people he'd actually listen to. Fuck him and fuck BMTH.

 

Interesting. I'd be down for this collaboration if it would make them actually decide to release the follow up to Gold Cobra, and pretend the atrocious one off singles never existed. Fred Durst needs to get his shit together.

 

Yeah the lyrics are laughable but I like the guitar tone better than anything on That's The Spirit.

Mantra was definitely better but this is not bad

 

Wondering the same because last I knew, she cheated on him. And he has spoke about that openly.

 

And him getting over that was a big factor in the making of this album, apparently.

 

Yes! I think he mentioned that in the interview for Reading/Leeds. It will be interesting to pick out which could reflect that time period in his life.

 

Yeah I'd need to hear more about that abuse stuff aside from rumors online, like have any women substantiated that?
