A) Is it a side project if the main band is broken up/on hiatus? B) By no fault of his own probably, this just sounds like a new but weaker Man Overboard song.
This scratches that Man Overboard itch, so I'm happy. Those guys know how to write solid hooks even if they were never adventurous lyrically or instrumentally. His voice still has that snottiness to it that can be grating but I just don't seem to care. I hope there's more where this came from!
