Got a Philly tix, sweet. Guessing it’s warm up for Riot Fest, but seems odd since they are playing Riot Fest.

Bought tickets to the Beachland show. I HATE Sunday night shows but Beachland is my favorite venue and this is special.

Philly still isn’t sold out and they shared to all their socials. Not feeling as excited about snagging a ticket now.

Doing a back catalog dive and man Every Day and Every Night EP holds up.

Super nervous these shows will be a full album play of the new album

Same. I bought a ticket so of course now it probably will be but had I not bought a ticket guaranteed would have been all deep cuts and fan favorites.

    blame me.

I was gonna grab a ticket for Philly but then I saw it was on a Monday night which is a total dealbreaker

Mine is on a Sunday night, which is even worse imo. Worst night of the week for a concert. I wasn’t planning on going at first, especially because I bought tickets to the Spring tour already, but feel like this is a super rare occasion.

At least on Sunday I wouldn’t be rushing from work to get up to Philly from Baltimore in traffic

How did I not know about the secret shows until today and still nabbed Lincoln Hall tickets?

Because nobody knows they're BE shows

I mean they posted it on their socials with references to it being them. I think outside of the major markets they’ve seen a decrease in venue size. These are still underplays but I don’t think they are drastic underplays.

Chicago is definitely a drastic underplay, I mean last time they were here they played a 3,500 capacity venue that was well attended, and this Chicago venue is only 500 capacity. Not to mention Conor sold this very venue out twice instantly when touring with Better Oblivion Community Center. I think the truth is people just need it spelled out for them this is Bright Eyes performing lol.

Yep, Cleveland is a also significant underplay.

BE played The Agora last year and are playing The Agora again in April -2,000 cap.

Next week's show is at Beachland Ballroom, 500 cap.

I feel like you are missing the bigger picture. People who go to Bright Eyes shows aren't all die-hards, many are casual listeners, like one song or simply have nostalgia for the band. These people are not following them on social media, not looking at clues and absolutely do not know these shows are happening

No, I got that. They pay attention to a Bandsintown notification and that's it.

ok... so then you DO understand why you were able to grab tickets after they had been on sale

I don't know why you're coming in guns blazing, though.

if you think my very reasonable and non-confrontational posts answering the question you asked are "guns blazing" the I truly don't know what to say

These were defintiely more towards the confrontational side of things.

Who cares if they play the new LP all the way through at these secret shows? New tunes sound great. Not sure what you're all on about there
