While nothing groundbreaking about this album, I couldn't imagine being a BE fan and not liking it.

Personally, I think this album is very, very good.

 

I like it because I'm a Bright Eyes fan and am not sure that I would have listened to it as many times as I have if they weren't already one of my favorite bands.

Swap Lifted and Fevers and this is my ranking, although I shouldn't be allowed to rank Five Dice bc I've only listened once without paying much attention

 

Digital Ash has a few great songs but I couldn't tell you the last time I listened to it all the way through

 

Can’t personally imagine not having digital ash top half. There’s a little bit of filler (maybe especially noteworthy given how little there is from Letting Off thru Wide Awake), but the good stuff is so fucking good.

here for the cassadaga hate, it’s fine but should have been a lot better and the gloss is definitely part of the problem
