Are there any features on this album? I wonder if Phoebe will be involved at all.

I would be shocked if Phoebe is not on this record in some capacity.

man these songs have been so, so good. played through all 4 of them a bunch so far today. I think "Persona" is still my favorite of the 4, but it's all so good. I cannot wait for this.

went ahead and got the newbury comics exclusive bc i forgot the VMP pre-orders are exclusive to members only

  6. I think what they do is lock it off to members only for a set amount of time and then open general pre-orders. But if it's /750 I don't think they're hanging around long so you chose the better option.

I'm near 100% sure she will be. Mariana's Trench has guest vocals on it, I couldn't tell who though.

  11. There don't seem to be any credited features on the album per the tracklisting (i.e. someone playing such a prominent part in the song they're credited in brackets) but the full album credits will make for interesting reading in a couple of months.

I was thinking of buying the standard bundle of the secretly store, but the shipping costs are +$50 to get it to Belgium. Think I will be getting a regular vinyl or maybe the signed one from recordstore.co.uk

The bundles have cheaper shipping on Bandcamp. At least in the US

Yeah I'm guessing it'll be like Cassadega, that credit list is DEEP

Performance got me so stoked last night, trying not to wear out the songs that have been released and purposely not listening to one & done but I have a feeling I will be watching this video a few more times before the record release!

I like the guitar sound on the chorus of this latest track. Very Jejune Stars-ish

A local record store had the red & orange vinyl (with the 7") for about $14 cheaper than the website, so I cancelled my bundle and pre-ordered through them

It is so incredibly disorienting to have Jon Theodore and Flea on this record.

My favorite band in high school was Bright Eyes. My best friends favorite band was RHCP. We both mutually loved The Mars Volta. Our taste definitely cross pollinated.....but to have these guys contributing to a Bright Eyes record is just...so strange (and amazing).
