I pre-ordered An Angle's first release on DTR and they sent me an autographed poster. still have it stored away somewhere. (along with a ton of other signed posters from Rushmore bands like Selft Against City, etc; this was the era i was like religiously pre-ordering whatever shit DTR/Rushmore was putting out).

anyway, i remember cracking up with friends when we listened to that An Angle CD. total alternate universe Bright Eyes.

these songs are really good

edited to add: these songs are absolutely fantastic! the only one I was even a bit so-so on at first was "The Living Thing", but I've been listening to these 5 songs nonstop since this edition released
