Ugh road to joy in the setlist?? jealous

  2. That is a much better setlist than when I saw them last year.

2 years ago they were horrible, in November they were fantastic. Other than the road to joy ender though I prefer the fall setlist

Aside from Conor rambling during the encore and taking forever to play the songs (and a few times during the main set), the show had no issues and everyone sounded great.

*I only bring up the rambling because it was midnight and people were clearly getting a bit frustrated.

I’m seeing them tomorrow with Cursive & Neva Dinova. Wild ass lineup.

Are they playing the companion versions of songs or no?

The band on this run is really small, Conor, Nate, Mogis and Maria Taylor, Orenda Fink. They did add "Rabbit Hole" and "Gold Mine Gutted" to the setlist but I'm not sure I would call them the "Companion" versions..

Is the Motion Sickness track on the companion EP for Noise Floor a cover of the Phoebe Bridgers song?

and all tracks better be as good as the redux of Middleman

I read somewhere that was actually an alternate version of middleman from the Cassadaga sessions and not a re-record. Would seem weird seeing as this whole project was about re-recording songs but maybe they did have that one lying around unreleased and said why not?

what?! That’s crazy. Even crazier they released the original version over the alternate as the alternate is miles better. I guess I get it as the original fits in with the sound of the rest of the LP but meh
