Unless something dramatic changed I believe the drummer you saw was Jon Theodore!

Haha well I was just guessing and they look similar, and are both Mars Volta drummers, life goes on.

    My whole post stands.

dude put on such a good show. but he was so blasted. went on a 5 minute rant about uvalde and abortion rights. he was so disenchanted and even talked about suicide .Picked a fight with someone in the crowd that told him to shut up and play.

  10. he talked about suicide???

I'm now very concerned. I saw a video someone posted where he said something along the lines of touring isn't as adventurous anymore, "oh well, I'll just do more heroin" and while I'd like to think he is joking, Mogis shaking his head in the background seemed to suggest otherwise. Speaking of Mike, how was the show without him?

the show itself was fantastic. probably my 10th time seeing bright eyes live and it's up there with some of the best ones.

oh I was there when that happened and it was definitely a joke. Conor kept annoying Mike throughout the night by trying to hug him or twirl a mic around his head while he was playing lol

Glad to hear. It looks like they didn't have any one fill in for Mike? My friends are going to Denver tomorrow and I'm hoping they get a good show.

maybe that's why they didn't play to death's heart :( didn't have anyone to play the solo at the end.

  16. Denver was fantastic. There was a point near the end where he almost walked off it looked like and a few of the guys huddled with him and he came back to the mic lol.

Just as predicted, the genre flip-flop for I'm Wide Awake and Digital Ash. Would have loved to see the entire records tackled.
