Listened to The People's Key for the first time in a while and it holds up better than I remembered. It's not their best, but a fun album nonetheless. Jejune Stars is such a jam!

I love Peoples Key. It’s hard to rank it when it’s competing with several masterpieces in the discography, but I think I would put it above Cassadega

They’ve only been playing First Day every other night.

    these are lackluster setlists tbh

no issues with including a bunch of weeds tracks on there but a lot of the other choices I'd daresay call "middling"

  13. Hot Knives for me, I think. The whole thing's a banger tho

  14. “Four Winds,” but “I Must Belong Somewhere” and “Classic Cars” are close.

Definitely brakeman, honorable mentions to four winds and i must belong somewhere

I kind of agree with deflector on the setlists but it might just be that it's the same as last summer (which makes sense considering it's basically the rescheduling and/or second leg of that tour). Love that Neely and Falling Out of Love are on there, but I wish there were some more not-new non-hits in the rotation. I sincerely do not ever need to see another travelin song again.

It used to be “Four Winds” by a mile but as I have gotten I really can’t lock down what the song is about, and as a result it’s lost some of its power. There’s a futility in trying to search for truth and hope in a world of senseless conflict and division, but I guess the song is just about how shitty the world is while we’re waiting for the apocalypse? Anyway, it’s “Classic Cars” or “Brakeman” nowadays.

Had Cassadaga on after The People's Key last week and I never realised how good Coat Check Dream Song is before. My favourite with No One Would Riot for Less.

I mean, basically perfect album so it's not bad, but it's boring to me. It's like the 20th most interesting song Conor released January 25, 2005 (had to check wikipedia for that lol)
