I listened to the leak a bunch but will be hearing To Deaths Heart for the first time today or tomorrow. So excited. This record is phenomenal. Bright Eyes can’t make a bad or even a just ok album.

Dance and Sing really is a great first proper song

Not reading anything until I get the album. Just found out my vinyl won't be here until TUESDAY! Come on FedEx.

I'm halfway into this album and holy shit is it good. This is... it's just making me so happy. Every song has cool shit going on, it feels very Bright Eyes and it's really nice to have new Bright Eyes again. I can't even pick favorite tracks yet, I've loved it all so far

Kind of surprised at the lack of posts right now, ha, but I thought this was great. Like all BE albums, I’ll need a while for everything to sink in, but this is just about as good as I could have possibly wanted from a new record. As others have said, Stairwell Song, Comet Song, and To Death’s Heart are all incredible.

 

I enjoyed this on first listen! Will have to give it multiple listens like @ImAMetaphor said to figure out my full thoughts, but it was great on first listen.

It is a really good album. This may be weird to say, but I think it sounds more like a Bright Eyes album than The People's Key did.

 

I wouldn't say that, People's Key felt really BE, but in different ways than this does

 

I love TPK and it's my favorite BE album and I agree that this new one sounds more like a BE record for sure. The orchestral elements really do it.
