Every time one of Max Landis' creative endeavors receives negative attention, my heart and soul grow that much warmer.

Did you not like his Superman run?

Ayer also wrote and directed “Sabotage,” which is also awful.

I just wish his white male privilege didn't prevent him from flopping into obscurity

If Chronicle is the best thing you've written, maybe working on movies isn't for you...

Didn't read it. Won't. Heard good things, but refuse to subject myself to one of my favorite characters as written by one of my least favorite human beings.

When the bourgeoisie finally come toppling down, I hope he's among the first to go, tbh.

Both the writer and director turned out to be tools huh

Maybe its for the best, but I haven't heard any Landis or Trank drama that paints them in bad light, just that some don't care for their work. What did they do?

What is Trank up to? Isn't he doing a movie with Tom Hardy?

Nothing on his IMDB. I feel like he's going to have difficulty getting work after the way he apparently acted while filming F4.

Fonzo. It’s still on Tranks wiki. I fucking love Hardy, but he makes some questionable decisions. I hope that falls through

Not sure I'd use the term "questionable". I don't love all of his projects but there aren't many where I can't figure out why he took the chance.

I always thought it'd be hard for Trank to get work after he tweeted talking shit on his own movie before it was released. I can't see any studio wanting to work with someone who tries and sabotage their own work.

This is my favorite Max Landis thing. They call him out on every bit of bullshit and it is wonderful.

Dammit he deleted. Basically he was saying two years ago "Bright, if things go right, could be my Star Wars!"

Oh my gosh, why. How can he really continue to believe that everything he succeeds at is his doing and every failure is someone else's fault? So very blinded by his privilege, lol, my goodness.

I don’t understand how he keeps getting work.
