Not really, I'll give it a shot. I've tried many, many times to listen to TGA and for the life of me, just can't get into them, which is why it shocks me so much that I love Brian's solo stuff.
Man we got The Blues Mary, She Loves You, Behold the Hurricane, Wooderson, Wherefore Art thou Elvis, Red Lights, Navesink Banks, Diamond Church, Etta James, and i know more but thats all i remember now haha And banter was top tier. He discussed the right temperature to cook food for your kids, whether or not he thinks jack white has a cell phone, his preferences on tailgating, and pictures of elton john. What a night.
Very eclectic set. Other stories included why he hates Matthew McConaughey, how documentaries lie to you, and that he hopes for the new album to be out by early next year.
I really wanted to hear that piano rendition of 59 Sound but i’ll happily trade it for The Blues Mary & She Loves You
This isn't much help, but I could send you the file I have. It is a vinyl rip I believe. It is reasonably okay quality in general with the exception that there is a skip type distortion right in the last few seconds of the song. For me it is worth it just because I love this song so much and think this is a fantastic arrangement / version of it. I would gladly pay whatever he wanted to charge to buy this in good quality digital.
Didn't love the "studio" version of Blues Mary that ended up as a Record Store Day single or Painkillers b-side...this is the best version out there IMO:
I like the b side version. I only have a mid quality stream. These need to be made available properly.
This version is what I listen to. It’s absolutely exceptional and I low key want it as my wedding song.
