Saw him last week and it was fantastic. It was my first time seeing him and it was everything I expected it him to be.
Definitely excited to see Brian solo for the first time tonight. The setlists for this tour have been changing every night which is very exciting.
Brian was great tonight as always. Obviously a piano version of the 59 sound was special but I think tonight solidified Watson as my favorite off the new album. Was pretty happy with the set list but I really wish he would have played Open All Night.
I saw the set on setlist.fm, only 17 songs? That's a bit shorter than I would've thought. But Brian is super chatty so I imagine that took up some time haha I hope he plays Open All Night when I see him in Philly.
Yeah he's still very chatty haha. He had multiple speeches that all said probably totaled a good 15 minutes of him just talking.
Yeah, you got 4 songs I really wanted and did not get......Neptune, Watson, Little Nightmares, and See You On The Other Side......vastly prefer that setlist to the one I got. I too would like to see Open All Night get some run. Others I'd like to see added to sets: Black Betty Mary Ann Mojo Hand Among Other Foolish Things (plays it way too rarely)
Yeah Watson and Little Nightmares were 2 of my favorites from the night, and unsurprisingly 2 of my favorites off the record
I'm really loving Little Nightmares right now. The back to back of that and the title track is really killer.
Saw Brian tonight and I'm not sure I've ever seen a happier artist playing music in my whole life; the whole band just had an absolute blast. They sounded incredible, and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. It's definitely funny - the venue was super small and intimate (and sold out - we were crammed into a pretty tiny space like sardines), so they played for 95 minutes and only did 16 songs. He just kept talking to what felt like everyone in the crowd. Which is typical, but also seemed like it was more than usual. I can't say enough good things about them, though. I hope he writes music and tours with this band for the next decade. Brian Fallon Setlist at Old Rock House, St. Louis
Yeah I’ve seen him solo now 4 times? And I swear each time he has been happier and happier. Dude just LOVES playing music!
Who's seeing him in Philly on the 27th? My gf and I will be there. She's not a fan, but I'm doing my best to convert her hah hopefully the show will be the tipping point.
The show in Cleveland this Saturday sold out before I started listening to (and fell in love with) his solo stuff. So really bummed I'm not going to be there.
There's a pair on Stubhub for $135 each... Not sure where else to check. I normally find that the Facebook Event page for a show is a pretty good place to look. I feel like people don't try to fuck over others as much there. That said, a lot of people are looking for tickets, with few sellers. Someone recently sold a ticket for $40, which is fair.
