I feel like Her Majesty’s Service and Proof of Life are low points compared to the rest of the album, but then again, the chorus of Her Majesty’s Service gets me every time so I guess I love it?
this is really good. i wish the people would stop trying to clap in sync to it and not being able to figure out the beat. that's gotta be impossible to play along to.
I feel like a bad Dave Hause fan because I haven't listened to Bury Me In Philly yet... I did love Devour from a few years ago though.
In Come Wander With Me do you guys hear him singing: never mind nothing, there’s a summer time coming OR humming? The lyric book says coming but I can only hear humming.
definitely hummin’ is all i can hear, especially with his “same electricity hummin’” line on the title track.
He’s practically playing the whole record outside of those! Haha. Gotta save something for the next tour!
Saw Brian and Dave Hause last night in Bristol, managed to grab a spot on the front row - phenomenal gig. Was blown away by Watson, my favourite off the record and I was praying he'd play it, he totally delivered.
I'm a big Loved Ones and Falcon fan but I could never really get into Hause solo stuff. I'll have to try again
I'm new to Hause this year, in fact I think off of a recommendation from this board. I think he's tremendous. I'm just now starting in on The Loved Ones. Bury Me In Philly is so good.
I was listening City and Colour today and was thinking how I would love to see Dallas and Brian touring together.I think that would be pretty awesome ....anyway,excited for Boston date and hope he still sticks with Smoke and Red Lights
Are people still waiting for their bundles to ship? I just emailed them again. The amount of time it’s taking to ship is absurd.
1 month until I get to see Fallon & The Weather..........man, I can't wait to hear these new songs live. Hope Neptune is in the set by then.
If we can get him to put on a Shrek mask at one of these shows I think Chorus would fold in on itself and disappear.
if Brian so much as knew i have been assessing his album under the name of Shrek i would find the nearest cliff and make some peace
