shit. is it just the 3 tracks? I thought there was like 5 bsides for this thing. idk i havent kept up with this record with all thats come out
There's the entire Georgia EP AND then two b-sides for Painkillers. Georgia has different producers though, so I guess that's a standalone.
yeah the preorder bonus tracks right? i still need to get my hands on those too. havent heard them yet. but yeah this album is really really good especially with this record.
Yeah. Georgia will be coming digitally, according to a tweet from Brian. Not sure about these b-sides. Those long clips sound real promising though.
I believe the vinyl sets have finally started shipping. But, as has been pointed out, the two bonus tracks on the LP are vinyl only. Thus, no download code. It will be ripped eventually though. The studio version of The Blues, Mary is straightforward and I frankly prefer the original demo. As for this album itself, It still feels pretty meh across the board. But I'm all for it if this leads to Gaslight Anthem becoming good again.
Been listening to this a lot over the past few months. Just the perfect album to put on when I'm out in the yard or with friends.
I hadn't realized how similar this is to American Slang until just now. Just the melodies and music itself gives me that feeling
Saw him live last night. These songs sound fucking incredible in a live setting with the band he's got. Definitely made me appreciate this album, and I probably had more fun than I've had at a Gaslight show. He seems really happy, which is awesome.
He played at my favorite local venue on Saturday; but I'm a wedding photographer and was working. As the reception venue was near the venue though, I decided to chance it and buy a ticket anyway, thinking maybe i'd be able to catch the end of the show. Sure enough, I literally had to sprint to the venue after I got out of the wedding, and I managed to catch the last 2 songs, haha. #worthit
Love that he's just out there being a road dog right now. I have a feeling some real good introspective songs will come from that. Also wish he would release those b-sides soon.
Anyone get hands on digital copies of Georgia, Low Love, Tin Pan Alley, Blues Mary, and/or Digging in the Dirt yet???
Damn I would have you pick me up a 7" if I knew you were going. Really trying for one of those tour variants.
Merch table was pretty swamped by the end of the show, so I didn't grab one. Also kind of forgot about it.
Yeah. It's not that big of a deal, I already own the retail copy. Just think the cover of the tour variant is pretty rad. Did he cover "More Adventurous"? I really went to hear that.
wait. I have the wrong thread haha. For some reason I was thinking this was an Aaron West thread. Nevermind any of that. But I do really want to hear the two additional vinyl bonus tracks that came with the 7" box set.
Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. I can't those (BRIAN FALLON) bonus tracks haven't been ripped and uploaded by somebody though.
I keep forgetting they exist because they haven't popped up anywhere. I do have the Georgia songs though. Not since he went on tour, I don't think. I'm guessing he takes some time off and then makes another solo record. But who knows.
