Surprised his uk tour is still going ahead at the moment

 

I wish a stream for this album would come out early based on the worldly happenings.

 

I listened to the songs we have so far and it definitely helped me chill out a little and eased my anxiety.

 

"Horses" is providing extreme comfort for me right now. Been listening to it non-stop.

 

I’ve been listening to these songs a lot.

 

Mojo Hand is a fantastic song

It would have fit more on a Sleepwalkers, which was I believe was recorded in New Orleans.

 

I'm with you. Least favorite song on the first two records.

 

I’d say Steve McQueen from Painkillers and My Name is the Night from Sleepwalkers are the song from each solo album that I listen to the least per album.

With that said, I’ve listened to both of these songs and albums a lot, and I don’t think they are bad songs. Just not my favourite of his songs on that album.

I don’t think the guy is capable of writing a bad song which is good news for us.

Man, i think My Name is the Night is an absolute jam.

 

I’ll throw hot take now but I think Sleepwalkers is the most fun record he’s ever done including Gaslight.And I love Gaslight.These new songs do absolutely nothing for me and thats bummer since I had ,,great expectations” after the last album.Maybe next time.

 

Sleepwalkers is fun.

@.K. YES!I love Elsie but it’s a special record and I gotta be in mood.That record sounds like sitting alone in some shitty bar in NYC suckin on whiskey to me haha.I know someone said these new songs gives em the kinda Elsie vibes but sadly I don’t hear that at all

 

This album has taken like 4 years to come out lol, I woke up thinking this was the Friday but nope.

 

Right? One more week.

I've tried to ... socially distance myself from listening to these tracks. I want to have the whole album ready at once. I've given Horses 1 play and I spun You Have Stolen My Heart a few that first week.

 

Honestly, Steve McQueen gets in my head more than any of Painkillers. One of my top from that album.

 

Same, I listened to the first song like 3-4 times and then stayed away from everything else.

 

I do not understand why the rollout for this album has been so long.

 

It was announced Dec 9th. That is a 16 WEEK ROLLOUT lol. Absurd.

To put it into perspective, the new Spanish Love Songs album was announced a month after and released more than a month before.
