    Aaaachem!

I could not get into this record at all...

Yes...but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts

Me neither, and that's a first when it comes to anything Fallon.

Decent choice for a release. Wondering what everyone else's favourites are? My top three are definitely Honey Magnolia, Nobody Wins and Mojo Hand.

PS I've noted outside this community the reception to the record has been much more positive. No rave reviews but lots on RYM saying it's an improvement over Get Hurt (I agree) and even Handwritten (disagree).

Rosemary is the obvious choice for a single... love this album but this song is one of my least favourites.

oh my god, I'm back on my bullshit Prestigious

Weird that people couldn't get into this album, it's probably my favourite Fallon album since American Slang.

I think this album is terrific. This song is probably one of my least favorites, but it's still solid. I just get a little bored with it.
My favorites would probably be Honey Magnolia, Nobody Wins, and Smoke -- but I really wouldn't skip a single song. Rosemary and Red Lights would've made great singles too.

Good album for sure, but it didn't have much lasting value for me. Maybe I just need to revisit it.

The new versions of the three MatZ songs really brought this album down for me overall, but Open All Night, Honey Magnolia and the title track are top-tier Fallon.

Painkillers is my AOTY, and has been far and away the one that's had the most listens. I think it's absolutely perfect, like basically everything Fallon has done.

And, while we're here - Elsie>Painkillers>American Slang>59 Sound>Handwritten>Get Hurt>Sink or Swim (and for perspective, I'd give 'Sink' a 9/10 and it would be my favorite record for most bands/artists. I might be a big fan of Brian Fallon).

59 Sound wins every time. After that my ranking would change often but today, having not listened to any of these records for months, I'd say:
59 Sound, Handwritten, Elsie, Sink or Swim, American Slang, Painkillers, Get Hurt. And I quite like Get Hurt.
