Cannot wAit for this album. They are one of those anomalies that even though they don’t change sounds much still sound good
Their last album was pretty good. I think Ashes of Eden is a really solid song. Then you have songs like Failure and Angels Fall that could've been on any previous album haha.
Amazed at the staying power these guys have when similar bands like 3 Days Grace and Trapt seem to have fallen by the wayside
I liked pretty much every song on that album. I’m even having Ashes of Eden played at my wedding next year lol
Go all in and fly Ben out to play it at your wedding! I'm sure that'll be a bigger moment than some forgettable DJ haha
Not to mention the lawsuits and the revolving door of members. Interesting you bring up 3DG. I honestly think Adam leaving really killed all momentum. I liked Matt in My Darkest Days but it didn't translate well in 3DG.
To hell with Ben! I REALLY like that idea. It'll be a beautiful moment that I'm sure 3/4s of the audience will be confused trying to figure out the song haha
Yeah pretty much just a few of my groomsmen that like them will know what it is lmao thanks for compliment
I support the BB love in here. I don't know what it is about these guys (probably the excellent choruses), but I can never lump them in with their awful contemporaries. Ben is a terrific songwriter and writes some fun riffs.
Tbh this band scratches a nice itch sometimes, it seems Ben's doing what he loves and is having a good time with it, can't knock this band.
"Fly Ben in" do you want him there alive? He wouldn't get on a plane. He is deathly afraid of flying.
All good haha. Yeah, he said in an interview ages ago that he would probably die if he ever got on a flight. Not because of the plane crashing, but because he'd literally be scared to death.
I second this. Obviously don’t listen to any post grunge early 2000’s rock bands that much anymore, but Benjamin Burnley can still churn out some great stuff. Their early albums are still a fantastic listen. Love the Billy Corgan cowrites on We Are Not Alone
Agreed, I think 3DG is a very very basic band music wise and Adam's vocals made them stand out. With that gone I wasn't surprised they kinded faded.
I have! I love the line up and Mike from Staind is one of my favorite guitarist, but their songs just don't do it for me
Well, I'll change my answer to Amtrak train and limo to the wedding haha. Does he do the cruise ship like Travis Barker for the overseas shows?
I have no idea when they last did a show outside of the US. Maybe they knock him out and then he's their carry-on luggage or something. Hahha. Who knows.
