“The movie will follow the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom." Sounds like Jesse to me.
This could be cool if Better Call Saul leads into it and it ties a ribbon on both of the shows together, but if it tries to launch something new, then I'm not a fan. Part of what made Breaking Bad so special is it knew when to quit.
I really think they fucked up Jesse’s arc in the final episodes so from my perspective there’s nothing to lose by going back to tell more of Jesse’s story.
It's like no one learned their lesson. If you could look back at when it was "announced" that Gilligan was thinking of doing a Saul spinoff comedy, people lost their fucking minds. Well guess what, you were wrong. So maybe we all chill out here until we get actual information?
i need Gilligan to announce Don’t Fuss with Gus to be followed by analysis panel show Talk-O with Taco just to see how many heads explode
I always figured his freedom was short lived as he can be linked to the area where Walt died right? He has to have had fingerprints all over the place. Maybe it's him on the run?
Definitely wasn't calling for this but got 100% confidence in Mr Gilligan to make something special, necessary and worthy of this great character. I'm really excited.
no she's terrible, the worst character ever, they should have written her off, she sucked, sojdhfoiadsfh
I'm finishing up the rewatch, and honestly I agree with the assessment that her arc is poorly written if you want the audience to have empathy for her. The writers were unable to give her a person to confide in, which means while you intellectually sympathize with her predicament, you don't actually feel it. They fixed it somewhat in Season 5, as you get a sense of the horror that she feels because she can finally be direct with Walt as he psychologically terrorizes her in her own house. Just finished "51", which has an incredible performance.
