O ya I'm gonna be at several things he's at. DCC is my current obsession. Can't wait to talk to that guy what a mad genius.
I'll post in here if I am able to stream in any way for anything. Not sure if they'll have regulations against anything like that. I'll also post my Twitch handle if I do end up streaming. Just looked on the app and it looks like IRL streaming should be pretty easy.
It feels supremely unfair to live this close and not be able to attend haha But I did just finish Sunlit Man last night so I’m primed to go.
https://glose.com/audiobook/tor-december-2025-title-to-be-announced-lw The other article I found is paywalled, so this is just the audio listing. But hey, new novella next year!
Let me know if you guys would like any more pics of anything at the con. I've got a bunch of great cosplay pics of people and pictures from Hoid's museum.
I named you, Spook. You were my friend. Isn't that enough? Damn my weird face but it's hard to see with a hemalurgic spike in your eye.
y'all my wife wanted to surprise me and accidentally bought Rhythm of War. Love her, it's the thought that counts. It's since been exchanged lol
I’ve heard such great things about him that I think it’s time I finally dive in. Start with Elantris, yeah?
Mistborn is largely a better place to start - Elantris is fine but rough around the edges, Mistborn is a more engaging start and especially taking the rest of the trilogy into account. I'd do the first Mistborn trilogy and the circle back to Elantris with the trilogy under your belt. Or you could start with Elantris too! Just keep in mind that he gets much better from there.
Yeah don’t start with Elantris. It’s good, has one of his best characters actually. But it’s rough. I started with Mistborn and loved it some much I binged everything in a couple of months.
I’m halfway through Elantris now after reading all of Mistborn, and Mistborn definitely felt like the right place to start.
