Final interludes Finally Hessina calling out Lirin on his shit. Didn't remember him being such an asshole before (but also don't remember him at all so..)
Knowing a Home of Songs, Called Our Burden is the most fantasy ass name for a Part ever and I couldn't be more excited.
I just finished. If I'm being honest, this is probably my least favorite of all the Stormlight books on first read. May change down the line. But holy wow, the connections in this thing. Now, we wait for the next one.
I agree. There was bound to be a book where this happened, I think, too. Too much had to be tied together.
Ya this is definitely like a major setup book. Brandon is spotting himself so he can spike us with the next book.
I think its safe that this is my least favourite of the 4 but i can't fault the connections made. One from every series!
Yeah didn’t want to be negative before everyone else finished; I agree. Still an excellent book, i gave it 5/5 on goodreads, and the cosmere stuff is mind blowing.
Only 50 pages left until I can read this thread again. Edit: Finished. That epilogue though. Book 5 is going to be bananas.
Almost finished with Alloy of Law. Probably my least favorite Cosmere book so far. Still a decent read, though. I've heard the other two are better?
I'm (very, very) slowly working my way through Rhythm of War now. A few chapters into book 2 and...I am very much not liking this.
Asking here too because it's appropriate: Should I read The Bands of Mourning before Mistborn: Secret History? Consensus elsewhere seems to be it's probably fine not to worry about it, but still wanted to see what anyone here thinks. also gimme more Allomancer Jak
the note in Arcanum Unbounded just says that there's spoilers for the original Mistborn trilogy and a minor spoiler for Bands of Mourning (which is the only Mistborn I haven't read yet). I'm fine with a minor spoiler I think haha. Just didn't want to miss something major. It's not like I'm not going to read it either, just wasn't planning on it right away.
