Just finished Era 1 of Mistborn. The way everything comes together in the last half of Hero Of Ages is just...wow. Some seriously excellent writing. Reading Secret History now, and it's nicely filling in some Cosmere-related gaps.

When I started reading these books, I had no idea how much of a rabbit hole I was falling into. I couldn't fall asleep last night because I was thinking of different theories and trying to make sense of everything. I may go back and read the Stormlight books again now that I have a better understanding of things.

 

If anybody wanted to do some serious Mistborn cosplay, SF is basically Scadrial right now.

 

Would you guys say the best re-read order would be:

tWoK
Warbreaker
WoR
Edgedancer
Oathbringer

?

 

I would say that's pretty fair. I re-read Warbreaker before WOK whenever I read now but as long as its read before WOR then it should be good!

 

Then the Dawnshard novella, if that still comes out before Rhythm of War.

 

Brandon read part of my letter on his last livestream. Highlight of the year. It's a low bar, but still.

 

Granted, this is a shitty ass year. But I think that’d be a highlight of most years! Congrats.

 

Got my RoW signed order and my ticket for the Waterstones online event. Pretty hyped.

 

Sick! Got mine from Foxtale in GA, which is funny bc I live around there now and had no idea there was a bookstore in town

 

I pre-ordered on Amazon like a pleb months ago.

I gave in and started listening to the prerelease chapters for RoW on Brandon’s YouTube channel. Still finishing reading Hero of Ages, hopefully I’ll have it finished in the next couple weeks.

I’m in the last couple hours of the Oathbringer audiobook in my reread. Damn.

It looks amazing! I couldn't get the kickstarter (too much money to justify at the moment when im trying to save) so now have to wait until the retail release of Dawnshard :(
