Just pre-ordered Dark One. On his website it comes out in July, but on Amazon it comes out in November.

 

Im re-listening to the first 3 stormlight archives in order to prepare for rhythm of war. im still have 10ish hours left of way of kings, not sure ill make all of that before november, haha

 

Not with that attitude.

 

I ordered it from Amazon and it said end of June, got a delivery date then it said delayed indefinitely. Looks like they changed the release date there.

Has anyone read Dark One yet? Can't get it here in the UK at all, I've pre-ordered the book but need to read the ebook now!

i don't know if i need the leatherbound, as gorgeous as it is, but i am at least in for the $50 tier for sure, would love a physical version of the novella.

The next Stormlight novella is based on Rysn and is officially titled Dawnshard.

So the Novella is Called Dawnshard

 

Very interesting. Rysn, Larkin, and Aimia are some of the more mysterious and interesting aspects of Stormlight Archive that we don't know a lot about.

 

One of the theories currently floating is in relation to the uncharted sea:

From drawer 16:16 - I returned to the tower to find squabbling children, instead of proud knights. That's why I hate this place. I'm going to go chart the hidden undersea caverns of Aimia; find my maps in Akinah.

Isn't this where the Dawnshards were now?

 

A Dawnshard was on Aimia at one point, yes, but it's kind of a grey area, according to what I remember and reading on the 17th Shard.
