Anybody have any ideas on the breakdown lyrics? Here's what I have:

New song and a new record of some sort coming

 

Love the new song. I can't believe stuff is happening. This year I swear. We're being blessed left and right with great music.

 

Must be something like the "second thief", to be an allusion to the crucifixion story.

Do we have confirmation of a new record? Or is it implied because of the single?

 

That's what I was thinking. RAGC! Also touched on that story with The Church of the Good Thief.

 

After getting a chance to download high quality audio and listen in some decent headphones I noticed a few elements of the song that seemed buried before really start to pop.

I liked the song on first listen - I'm liking it more after really digging in and having a bit of time to digest it.

Hoping for a full length. I think Mene would be a killer opener, the way The Only One opens Mean Everything to Nothing.

The only bummer about this is that the press release states that they will be selling the single vinyl on the co-headlining tour...which to me, shreds any chance of an album being released before the tour. I remember buying tickets and thinking in my head, a new album before the tour just makes sense. Guess not.

Funny to see Brand New on bandcamp. I've discovered so many cool bands thanks to bandcamp.

 

I love it. Really enjoy the fan collection section of the website, so being able to feature brand new on there is kind of a dream come true.

 

I imagine they get a better percentage of sales through bandcamp than through amazon or iTunes, but I could be wrong.

 

Love the bandcamp app extremely solid.

 

I won't lie, I'm not blown away by it. Maybe it will grow on me, but I am still VERY excited for a new album.
