Thread is moving too fast and I have less and less interest in it sad really due for a break I guess but then I will have so much to catch up on which I prob won't bother doing. I say that but really deep down the obsessive BN FAN in me knows he will.

 

what were your thoughts on the new song?

 

Out Of Range is a top 5 Brand New track for me. One of my most played, too. I'll listen to it a few times a week.

 

I like it. I am not blown away by any means but it's solid even if it's a little straighforward and repetitive. I actually kinda like how catchy and poppy it is and I can see myself enjoying the song more in context of the full album kind of like At The Bottom. Feels more complete to me than Mene so as a lead single its decent and does its job.

 

I definitely hope Mene isnt on the album/ep like @Dirty Sanchez said earlier it would be such a waste of a song slot at this point. That tune is over a year old already.

 

I wouldn't mind if it were on the album.

 

Id like to see it not on there but yeah we'll see

I'm glad Brand New is once again doing something different. I love the new song, but nit as much as Mene.

I like the idea of short Brand New songs.

Digging the new song. Sounds like it came from an alternate reality where Deja Entendu didn't happen, and instead they released a follow-up to Your Favorite Weapon that wasn't quite as radically different.

I'm not really a fan of the new song but I had the same response to At The Bottom and Daisy ended up being my favorite Brand New record so there is plenty of hope.

 

This song would only get college radio play. But who cares? What is radio's value at this point anyways

Very excited for something new and this is as good as I could have hoped. The punk drum line is solid

 

I suppose anything that exists after hardcore is post-hardcore, eh!
