Nah cause the demos rock and that was their designated title for a long time. Play Crack was just never my absolute fave so I maybe just didn't get it and I recognize that's a me thing. No judgement at all for people putting it on their bodies, I just didn't personally ~get it~ which made me think I was missing something more. It sounds like I'm shitting on play crack when I actually like it a lot.

 

Hmmm, I think you are right. Both are fan favs and very easy to sing along to. I over estimated my love for that bass line and the back and forth vocals.

At this point I should say that I have a weak sense of rhythm, don't play any instruments, and I sing slightly better than Tom Delonge.

Oh and most of my lyric-writing eventually becomes Seinfeld fanfic.

 

TBH I just wanted an excuse to use the word "normies" as a derogatory. I don't disagree with you.

Not much really. I think it was just a cumulative effect and then Jason just said "Nah" and that was that.

 

I have actually never listened to a single Brand New album all the way through.
