We might be close to an album. If we are, I won't believe it until I see it physically, and even then, I'd be suspicious

 

I wouldn't be very into the idea of Yip and Brand New

 

Yip's production has been fine lately

 

Yip is better than people give him credit for at this point

Backwards Dancer is tight. I've heard them mentionned before but can't remember where and never gave them a listen until now. Glad I did. Equal Vision Records might be my favorite label at the moment. It used to be Run For Cover but EVR has been killing it lately.

 

I love Will Yip, some of the most important records in my life were produced by him. I'm not sure how I would feel about him doing Brand New though.

 

@bedwettingcosmo and I seemed to the only people on this site to enjoy that record ha

 

He'd be mixing not producing, so idk how that would change things but he seems to mix every band he records with differently and I feel like it's impossible to know how he would do with brand new until he does it. If that makes sense

 

I think produced by Sapone mixed by Yip would be very interesting.

 

I think a new Brand New album would be interesting.
