I meant the original, reworked version of "Nobody Moves".

To me, the band has a masterpiece, two amazing albums, and a decent kickstart album to pioneer their career.

Yea and also 2 albums that different people may categorize as a masterpiece. For fans of 3rd wave emo Deja was unlike anything they had heard before and those memories of hearing that record really stuck with them

For sure. Deja and Daisy are basically masterpieces for me, but I hold TDAG to such a higher regard that I need some way to differentiate the two categories. TDAG is tied with JEWs Futures as my favorite record, and there are some, yet few, records that lay in the middle of the two colossal greats and Deja/Daisy

Life ain't fair and the world is mean Supporter

I think the reworked/remastered version of 1996 is a top 3 Brand New song overall. Other two really benefit from the quality production value as well. I'd love to get Leaked Demos V.2 with Good Man, Nobody Moves, and Battalions (yes I know this later turned into Archers, but I consider them separate songs).

Edit: Realized after I posted this that the Leaked Demos and Reworked Demos are different releases. DUH.

  7. I know you guys joke about the ska/reggae version of Vices, but I did get to hear a snippet of You Stole in that style, complete with Jesse scatting. Unfortunately, no footage exists of it to my knowledge.

    I don't hate you.

Whichever one makes it clear that I'm not concerned about their plans to release or not release new music.

I certainly don't fault anyone who is still holding out hope, and believe me if they do put out a new record I will happily listen, but at this point I'm content with what we have. I don't feel like I need it anymore.

Brand New could continue to tour for the next 20 years, never releasing any new music, and I'd still pay $100 for 2 tickets to every show within a 3 hour radius. Do I want new music? Of course I do, but they'll still be my favorite band based on their current catalog, and have enough variety that I've been to 21 shows now and haven't gotten bored once.

Oooh okay this makes more sense. I don't have that alternate version that they messed with but Everytime I hear it on the cassette it's actually thrilling haha. The new mastered/original version has the same effect tho

    Two recorded versions.

The original and then one that came with the cassette tapes.

Here's the other thing.. there was a nobody moves prime that was 320 this was better quality than the SoundCloud version which was slightly lower. Easter egg hunt started and people found the prime version.

Wasn't there a different version on the physical tapes than on the digital release? I didn't get the tape so I could be wrong

oh yea the original leak, the leak version cleaned up, then the rerecorded version.. I consider the leaked version cleaned up and the original leak version the same since it was just remastered

I think the 3 Demos Reworked version of Missing You is my favorite demos song. I love that new bridge so much.

Leaked Demos 2006 Good Man and Nobody Moves comes close tho
