Can each of these guys write an autobiography or history of the band so I can have four books to read. Five if you count Mike Sapone. Six if you count Derrick Sherman.

 

I was just talking about this with a friend last night. Without a doubt I'll be making the trip. It would be cool to do a Chorus event somewhere near the venue for an after party.

 

Assuming that that show is in 2018, really depends on what my relationship status is / financial situation. But obviously, it's something I'd love to do.

 

Actually, their last show would be on the east coast. I wouldn't travel to the east coast for it, way too expensive. But like, if I knew it was going to be their last show somewhere west (anything from like Seattle to Salt Lake), I'd probably try and make that

 

I would be shocked if their last show ever wasn't in Long Island. It really won't make any sense for them to do it elsewhere. I live in Cleveland and when they played Nassau Coliseum in 2009 in Long Island, I made a weekend trip of it.

I've said since they announced the 2018 thing (which I still call bluff - again, we are talking about a band that e-mailed all their fans saying they'd release an album in 2016...only to not release an album in 2016. So I take EVERYTHING they say with a grain of salt) that I would drop everything to go to their final show. And I got a wife and kids.

My biggest fear though is, it's so hard to get tickets to one of their shows, and obviously, I'd want to hit up a nearby show as well. So the likelihood of me getting tickets to both of them would probably be slim and I fear that I'd get shut out of both just getting stuck in one of their damn 'online waiting rooms'

 

so I told ya'll I would update so since I joined the deja entinder group I haven't paid much attention but someone posted something to the effect of "I need more brand new loving liberal womens rights supporting people on my feed so add me" and thus I now have like 40 new friends (mostly female) who are all so nice and progressive and feminist and this is an unexpected turn of events that I'm rather happy with!

 

Is it wrong that I'm disappointed because I expected to hear a funny story about that group being creepy?

In all seriousness though, it's cool that you were able to make some like-minded friends.

Yeah it's gonna be a hard sell to get my wife to to be down for traveling to the east coast for it, but I'm gonna try and make it happen if at all possible

Did the Michael's $79 custom frame deal on two Brand New prints. Happy with the results. Wish it included double mat, but oh well. Forest Hills is /350, Bell House is /100.

 

Looks awesome! Love seeing some framed BN stuff. Saw your post on twitter about it and actually went to Michaels as well to get some done ha.

 

We are same! (Top right of the photo, ignore the Christmas decorations lol - only photo I could find). Really like your mat/frame for it though. I went a bit more simplistic.

For $79 it's a really great deal, even if you can only choose from five frames. Very happy with how mine turned out.

Jealous of some of the people in the Phish poster communities I am in. They were able to sweet talk their Michael's reps into some crazy stuff within the $79 deal including a double mat or a glass cutout for a ticket stub. Lucky!

 

I'm lucky that they are my wife's favorite, maybe second only to Manchester for her. But she is kinda over going to shows...

 

Dang! I wish that worked for me ha I actually ended up going with other frames since it was still a good deal.

 

My wife doesn't care for ANY of the music I listen to, which is fine by me. I typically go to shows with one of my good friends who has pretty much the exact same musical taste as me.

 

I am a wife. Brand New is my favorite band.

Possibly, but I doubt it would have the cohesive feeling that you get (most of the time) with an album.
