How likely is it that Brand New will come to Australia one final time? and then how likely is it that they will go to the cities on the Central/West Coast like Adelaide and Perth?

Ah what a ballache. Should have all gone to the Manc show on Saturday. Perfect day and excuse for a pissup and in the middle for everyone kind of. Next time for sure! When they announce their final tour we have to put something into action.

Brand new will definitely do one last uk tour. I'm sure of it. Doubt their last time in the uk would be as a support band. Fingers crossed anyway

Yeah that would've been good, we should def organise something for next time. I'm more than happy to travel up to Manchester for a gig like this next time round. I am up your way next year for Sabbath, no idea what date I'm at though as my mate got this tickets.

There's the Thursday and the Saturday for that one. I unfortunately couldn't get tickets to their last ever one so I'm at the Thursday night one. Either way, I'm just happy to see them.

Went to Glasgow last night - Brand New sound good, if Jesse's voice sounds a little raw.
What always surprises me now is the speed they play Sic Transit at - take a breath Jesse!

Aberdeen tonight and Leeds on Sunday.

Once I find out which one I'm at from my mate I'll let you know. There's already so many gigs being announced for next year I want to go to (or have tickets to already).

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I hate the way they play Sic Transit live. It's like double speed and sounds rough usually.

Yeah for sure. I obviously live here so if it's the Saturday I can still meet for a beer anyway. I know yeah, Richard Ashcroft announced a date this week, which is a terrible time of year to try and get money out of me for tickets, especially since I'm still considering seeing Limp Bizkit/Korn this month which is a shockingly high price and I haven't bought a ticket yet. There's stuff I've already accepted I can't be bothered with like Green Day, Stone Roses, Kings of Leon/Pixies in London, can't justify the cost. But I have bought tickets to Japandroids in London again, grab a ticket to that and we can hang, I think it's a Saturday too.

It's probably a tough song for Jesse to play live because the verses are so fast. I agree, it normally doesn't sound that great live. Same with Quiet Things No One Ever Knows, the chorus is normally brutal live. Probably why they don't play that one too much.

I'd be inclined to agree but somehow I always forget they do it, then I hear the bass about double speed.

Okay I Believe You was quite fast last night too.

Either of you fellas going to the Japandroids show in London in May?

I'm going to the Bizkit/Korn London date, I swear we'd be at gigs together all the time if I lived near Birmingham haha. I'll check out when the Japandroids show is and see if it's doable. I really want to see Tegan and Sara but I think it's the same week as sabbath. Also really want to do that deftones/afi gig but Ally pally is such an arse to get to.

One week today I'll have just seen them. Shame it's at the NIA which is always an annoying experience as it's so badly run. In the years I lived in Birmingham, I don't think I ever went to a gig there with decent signage and organisation.

Master of not knowing what the hell I'm doing.

I'm not sure what I was expecting but the twitter reaction to Brand New on this tour has been lukewarm to say the least. Just saw someone say they were boring too. As a Biffy fan I'm ashamed.

  20. I like these colors much more than the ones they had on tour. That spear fishing shirt with the maroon color might be my favorite Brand New shirt they've put out.

I'm not surprised, Biffy are a massive band now and get a lot of play on Radio 1, with that comes all your casual listeners so you're bound to get loads of people that are only there for a few of the bigger Biffy songs that don't care about support bands.

Tell me about it, I'm really considering heading up to that show but at the Manchester date for Deftones/AFI as it's a Saturday show.

I am! Going to Birmingham and London for that one as they're pretty much my favourite band of the last five years.

Does anyone know if these are the shirts currently on the Biffy support show? Would love to snag one.
