Because we actually want to see brand new play 2 songs for 2 hours. We couldn't have been using hyperbolic statements to emphasis our love for specific songs... Those posts must have been serious!!!!

 

What the hell? Someone said the walked out on Copeland in this thread? Someone walked out in Jimmy Eat World? What kind of insanity is that?

And someone said Betweeen The Buried and Me are boring live?? What have you people been drinking. I'm going to go listen to Colors live and forget I read the last few pages of this thread.

Oh god, I didn't even see the Copeland one. I think walking out on Anberlin, Jimmy Eat World and Copeland are all huge music sins. haha All of those bands are better than Brand New too.

 

I have never walked out of a gig. I have walked out during festival sets a few times due to clashes or just being dragged to see something I didn't like. I have NEVER walked out of a gig I paid to see.

Even if I dislike the headliner, I stay and watch. Even if I find a band boring, I stay and watch.


Anyone saying they walked out during Jesus Christ should be perma banned from this website

 

I walked out of Coheed and Cambria. I mainly went to check out Glassjaw who was opening for them and am only familiar with Coheeds earlier music so I didn't see the point of sticking around.

 

There was a whole nation who walked out on Jesus Christ once

CRAP I JUST REALIZED I HAVE THE WORSR ONE

My friend and I are huge mewithoutyou fans but he doesn't like the menzingers. So when they toured last fall he wanted to leave early bc he had to get up for work. I convinced him to stay for a few menzinger songs but we left 3 songs in. This one was rough looking back I wish we drove seperate

 

The only time I left a show early was skipping Rise Against. They just haven't done much for me for awhile now and were supporting Appeal To Reason which is one of my biggest letdown albums personally. Gaslight Anthem, Thrice, and Alkaline Trio felt like a complete enough show for me by the time RA came on I guess lol.

 

I leave a lot of summer shows early due to me not wanting to get stuck in some of these ampltheater parking lots.

 

Walked out before Hit the Lights, AWOLNATION, The Maine, Bayside, Neck Deep could headline

 

I went to that tour for Pianos and mwY and left before the menzingers. They don't do much of anything for me.

 

ugh I'm a huge menzingers fan. I'm still mad about it ha. But yea pianos were incredible on that tour too

Okay guys, confession, I walked out on Brand New once. I went to see them with two friends. I had already been stressed and on edge. And they kept fucking with me all night so my anxiety was going crazy and I got so mad and panicked that I left while Brand New was getting set up. I held a massive grudge against them and couldn't even listen to Brand New for like 6 months after that night. Haha

 

i remember that tour. half the crowd left when menzingers went on..

 

Don't think I've ever left before a headliner

 

Went to a show in November '06, my first concert, ever. Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was who I went for, and they opened for Hoobastank, and Shinedown.

I left a couple songs into Hoobastank, because they started covering Nirvana and I noped the heck out because they were terrible. I went to camp in front of Walmart for the Wii launch instead. No regrets.

 

Haha yeah I remember saying that to my friend as We walked out with a ton of other people.

Where you at the SLC show at The complex? I was one of the ones who left right before The Menzingers went on. I had to drive up to Logan after and didn't see the point in sticking around for a band I wasn't into.
