Anberlin's final tour is the best show I've ever been to. The emotion, performance, crowd, everything was perfect. The two times I've seen Circa Survive, and the time I saw mewithoutYou are close contenders though.

I wanna say the only show I left before the headliner was when TWY played with yellowcard a few years back. Would have stayed for YC but my buddy got pretty sick so we had to head out, 'twas a bummer

I walked out on Jimmy Eat Word after Paramore played back in the Riot! days

The only time I've left before the headliner played was when I saw a local band and Oh No Fiasco opening for Ghost Town. I'd rather get shot than sit through ghost town I think...

I guess I've had to leave a couple local shows early, but that's just because (at least in Charlotte) the local headliners often don't stop until around 1am.

I've seen Say Anything three times and would have loved to go to that tour (adore mewithoutYou), but I don't know how much I would have enjoyed Say Anything after their new album. Haha

I've seen them once on that tour w The Front Bottoms, You Blew It!, and the So So Glos. I left pretty much for that reason, figured it'd be new album heavy and Say Anything fans are not fun to be around when they play anything other than ...Is A Real Boy stuff (or during, tbh). Which isn't to say I'm not a fan but I'm more distant I guess

To the best of my recollection, Dashboard Confessional (2006 & 2009), Saves the Day (2002), He Is Legened (2007), and Copeland (2010) are the only headliners I've walked out on. The only one I regret is STD since they were at the height of their popularity and between my two favorite records of theirs. I only cared about seeing TBS and leaving to go make out with my girlfriend at the time. So stupid.

I remember watching Bayside before they played with TGA, and these two guys who said they were leaving after Bayside had finished and the looks on the girls faces at their complete disregard for TGA was pretty funny.

Walked out on Modern Baseball and Say Anything. Only went because Cymbals Eat Guitars opened that tour.

When The Wonder Years opened up for The Early November back in 2012 (it was TEN's reunion tour) I swear half the venue cleared out after TWY and there was maybe a few hundred people left for TEN. It was so awkward.

Only time I ever went to a show specifically for the opener and then left was in 2012 when I saw Twenty One Pilots open up for Walk the Moon and Neon Trees (headliner). I find that funny today.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

I almost always leave early during festivals unless the headliner is one of my favorites. This year I walked out on RHCP, Flume, Lana Del Ray, Radiohead, Blink and Rise Against. If it wasn't a festival it's a different story but I just couldn't deal with the insanity of people leaving the site. Not to mention I checked out at least 30-60 minutes of their set before leaving.

The only time I remember well was walking out during Thursday when I went to see Dillinger Escape Plan open for them back in 2009.

The only time I remember leaving before the headliner was in 2002 or 2003. Coheed and Cambria and Thrice (plus maybe Vendetta Red or the band with Sting's son in it) opened for Hot Water Music at the Metro in Chicago.

I saw All Get Out open for Mae, and thought it might feel nostalgic to stick around. I was wrong and had to leave a few songs into Mae's god-awful set.
