I'm not one to think bands or artists owe their fans anything really. This is exasperating though . I'm really excited to see that they will be playing Devil and God in full. I love that album so much. Last time I saw them, they surprise-played Deja in full, which was quite a nice surprise. Looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks!

 

Really sad if this news is because they had a collection of IAAN-esque songs they ended up not liking. I was ready for that album.

 

So... New album next year and then in April of 2018 we get all of their unreleased stuff from throughout all the years in a big box set.

 

As sad as I am about them ending, I think i'd be super okay with it if we got a new album and then just like 25 unreleased tracks that they never felt were album worthy but decide in the end they want to give to the fans as a present.

 

I assume that album they wrote will come out as "Demos 2016" at some point?

 

Also, for the IAAN haters, the play on words in the bridge should be enough by itself for you to change your ways

Seriously love that lyric more and more every time I hear it. Also love the next line too, even if it's "cheesy".

 

My dream is that one day we get some sort of compilation and most of their bsides/unreleased material sees the light of day.

brand new just announced as the main support for the irish dates of that biffy clyro tour. this is probably going to be the first time i leave a show before the headliners perform.

 

Even if you hate Biffy's music, their live show is super entertaining.

 

I know it's your call, but hey, you've paid the price to get in. May as well watch the rest of the show. Biffy aren't that bad.

 

Reading peoples' clamoring for Nintendo to reveal the NX reminds me of my experience with Brand New.

Really hoping Nintendo just releases a typewritten letter, "Please send flowers. Sincerely, Nintendo."

ah yeah, i'll probably stick around for a bit and see what all the fuss is about their live set, but i've hated pretty much every song of theirs i've ever heard so not expecting much tbh. heh.

 

One thing you definitely should expect is 3 sweaty almost-40-year-old dudes with their shirts off. They always have their shirts off.

 

I wish the TD&G shows were coming to Canada :'(

 

If anyone is interested, my band just released a new single with some very strong Brand New/Modest Mouse vibes. I know it's not Brand New related new but they're not giving us much these days....

Leaving... Before Anberlin? Also, I had no idea Circa Survive and Anberlin ever toured together. They are my two favorite bands so that would have been a dream tour for me.
