I got jealous, but then realized I have seen them play it live before, just not in order. So enjoy those who have never gotten to see that happen.

Not surprised at all by today's news so I really don't care hahah

 

I took Brand New off my most anticipated list a few weeks ago, I've been resigned to not getting new music for a while. I'm just glad they addressed it candidly and honestly.

 

That's dumb. Honestly not surprising at all but still disappointing. It would be cool if these guys actually put out albums like other bands and musicians do.

 

Know of any good places to stay in Ithaca? My gf and I are going to the Ithaca show but haven't booked our hotel yet

I mean, would any of you honestly want them to release an album they are unhappy with?

 

I feel a disgusting amount of envy and disdain for everybody who has heard the Untitled TDAG song and Handcuffs live, or will do on the US tour. And I'll be busy watching videos of that, crying and praying that they play TDAG in full while they support Biffy in the UK.

 

Late but everything blew up and I didn't see these replies. I've not Teebs, no! But I've got the live cd and DVD. If that's relevant!

I've heard a few songs from it that I did enjoy, but unfortunately nothing grabbed me enough to listen to it in full. The production sounded bloody awesome though, I'll agree.

They have to...right? I wouldn't even care if it was the entirety of their set. Like, please for the love of everything good in this world let this happen. I need it. My favourite album by any artist ever.

 

Haha. I know, the only reason I have doubts is that they're the support not the headliner. However they are playing at the sse hydro. So it is a big venue and no other bands have been announced yet so I would be happy if they just kept it biffy and brand new and let brand new play a big setlist haha

 

I've heard they're fans and friends of Brand New, so it wouldn't surprise me if they gave them an hour set at the very least. It's Biffy though...with a back-catalogue as big as that, I'm trying to be realistic about it :(
But only having one support does give me hope. There's only a few dates too...

Yeah. That sounds promising then, I'm sure biffy would let them play what they want. I'm going to see them at the hydro in Glasgow. What about you?

I heard that sold out in seconds! I'm seeing them in Birmingham.

 

Yeah. It's definitely doable. It did sell out fast, I tried getting standing tickets as soon as it hit 9am but was only offered seating so tried again 10 mins later and got standing. So lucky. Nice one, have you seen them live before? I am praying for TDAG in full. I was lucky enough to be at the show in Edinburgh where they played Deja front to back. Was incredible!

 

Do you know if any other bands have been announced for the biffy shows?

 

None have! It's a realist attitude Paul is taking haha. Let us remain naive.
