At what point do you guys consider Summer to be over and the start of Autumn? Because I just re-read the information report from Nightmare and was reminded of the single promised to us in Summer. *Looks around*

Additionally, one of the reports mentions Pogolith continuing...this is the lyric books right? Where da fook are the Daisy and YFW books?

 

Well I think otherwise because I can't see them rushing to complete an album before this tour and releasing it prior. Jesse has said it's not finished, or needed completing, and I just can't see them finishing it, announcing it and then releasing it all before this tour. And even after, it's what, mid-November at this point? I'm going stir-crazy, I know. But it's just a thought.

 

I still believe we're getting it this year, but further doubting that we will get it before this next tour starts.

 

Yeahhhh. It's just daft how they can be announcing another tour so soon after the completion of the MM one in the same country with still no word on the album. The second I heard of the new tour I was determined it had to be out by then, and that they'd be playing new music to these cities they're supposedly playing for the last time. At the very least there's got to be a new single out before the tour - I'm just hoping it's an announcement paired with a single kinda deal.

 

Honestly, the most reliable information we have is apparently straight from Jesse a couple of weeks ago. The aim is September.

Regular on sale slightly higher than presale but negligible. I got GA tickets for Glens Falls through both and they came to $46.95 each for the presale and $48.50 for the regular on sale. NBD.

Not sure, I got GA but there could have been other options available.

 

Yeah at this point i'm officially in the I have no clue when it's going to be announced/released camp. All that said, they are still my favorite band and I'm going to jam their entire discography this week in hopes that it will manifest news on this alleged "new lp" unconfirmed format.

 

Nah. They won't wanna take any of the spotlight off KD. Wouldn't be kosher of them now I that I think about it.

 

I'm also kinda hoping that their preorders for LP5 will reflect the pattern of their most recent releases. Being indefinite pressings. No "limited" variants.

 

None of their recent vinyls except for the Mene single have been on anything other than black. Hopefully it's not like the new Thrice record. That one was so hard to get on one of the limited variants.

 

Somehow I ended up with all three of the TBEITBN variants, and I don't collect variants. Found myself to be the first person at the merch table in Orlando and decided to grab the tour variant on a whim. I'm a sucker for anything Thrice.

Damn lucky snag. That tour variant is gorgeous. I'm getting it but on black only. I'm just glad that I will finally own it on vinyl. It's my favorite Thrice record.

 

That subreddit gets hectic, I have to stop myself from commenting sometimes.

 

I'm in two minds about vinyl variants with this last BN album. I've tried my damnedest to get as many cool variants of TDAG and Daisy as possible. I would very much like to own a cool variant of their last album, but the amount of hassle it'd be to make sure I got one would just be too much I think. I love that these new releases have been indefinite.

 

Do you own the cassette? I got the red one as soon as it went up on sale. If I get the chance and it's cheap I would even consider getting the black one too just because.

 

Of the demos? Yep, I have the red and black! They're so cheap! Haven't even opened the black one. Honestly I just wanted it for the alternate cover and forgot it was black until it arrived!

Yeah it's pretty cool! I'd never play the cassettes in fear of ruining them because I'm lame like that, but I figured it was much cooler to get the cassettes and have a physical thing rather than just download them.

 

I'll never play the cassettes because I don't have a tale deck hah. But like you said, they're a cool addition to any collection/Brand New fan. Though I would definitely play it if I did.
