Went up at 11:57 for the tour with Modest Mouse.

 

I feel like so many people are excited but that I'm going to be letdown come noon. Much like when Thrice came back and didn't play the venue close to me that they've played every single tour before. Oh well I'll just hope for the best

The issue with it going up so quick after announcement is that it's an impulse buy, deal with the consequences late (of the date not working with your schedule).

 

except these tickets are very easily resellable, i sold my last pit tickets very very easily and made a little off of them too

 

Yeah there are plenty of issues with the way they do these things to avoid scalpers. I've been pretty lucky getting tickets though since I guess my market is slow to purchase sometimes

 

I've bought tickets that I couldn't sell before. The venue didn't allow refunds. Will call only. Couldn't make the trip.

The purpose of the rapid turnaround after the announcement is to 1) give a leg up to hardcore fans 2) put a dent in scalping

 

Fall 2014 tour, HOB Myrtle Beach lost me $100. Wife wasn't happy.

 

Last time I tried to buy BN tickets, they were Will Call only so I didnt. That was earlier this year.

 

presale for the modest mouse tour was all printed tickets, summer 2014 i sold mine too

No it wasn't, the Michigan date for the MM tour was will call only

 

weird, the soundrink email said they shipped out all presale tickets

That's strange. I got mine through Soundrink as well, and I didn't have the option of printed tickets.

 

What are you guys looking at for the announcement? Procastinate's twitter? Brand New's? etc.

soundrink was weird, i thought mine was will call but it charged me for shipping and then they emailed for addresses and then said all tickets were mailed out anyways

will call was a backup
