Not sure if you saw the picture I added but yeah haha. I mean I don't care but I could get why someone would. And for what it's worth I think that ATL donates all the bras or a money to breast cancer research or...I don't know something like that...

 

Yeah they donate a dollar for every bra to breast cancer research. Still a bit creepy but at least something good comes out of it.

i got shredded for saying this elsewhere but TFB are pretty close to being the same draw as brand new
honestly there will be lots of kids who go for TFB and then leave

 

What's a good record to start with the front bottoms?

 

everyone has their preferences, i'd say start at the s/t and then move forward. i think their last is the best but it's the most polished by far. i'd also consider just saying wait to see them live, i definitely didn't get into them until i saw them live back in early 2012 with mansions. some people love talon of the hawk but i don't think it's very good other than the fact it has their best song (twin sized mattress)

 

i'd say their self titled is a good place to start. the releases before that suffer from a less "produced"/more raw sound (though are still pretty good).

yeah, their earlier stuff is also being rerecorded on the grandma EPs, rose has some of their best older songs
wonder if we get the second one for this tour

 

just by tour dates it doesn't seem like it's going to be a very long tour, TFB is playing austin city limits beginning of october and brand new isn't on there, and then TFB is overseas in mid november

Yeah - judging from that Reddit post about needing to go back and finish the album, I'd assume yet another lengthy US tour isn't really going to help get it done.

 

So today is the day EHH oh no wait we're only Tuesday

 

It really is the longest week ever.

 

I'm thinking of going to see Anthony Green and Mat Kerekes in the fall but I'm waiting on this BN tour announcement before deciding what i'm doing. I hope tomorrow really is the day!

 

I'm trying to set a schedule of events for the rest of the year at work, but waiting for this to set anything in stone.
